Happy World Plumbing Day!
Today is a reminder to take care of what keeps water and wastewater flowing. Doing small things like snaking your sewer line annually and only flushing pee, poop, and toilet paper can protect your pipes and help you avoid unnecessary repairs that drain your wallet.

To help save some money on your bill you can soak fruit and vegetables in a tub to clean them at the same time rather than running each item under your faucet.

New year, new ways you can save money. One tip to utilize to kick off the new year is to not rinse dishes with running water. Use one tub or basin to wash and the other to rinse.

The cold weather came fast! If you haven’t already, consider doing something small, such as wrapping insulation around your pipes in any unheated areas of your home. These coverings help protect pipes from the cold and reduce the likelihood of pipes bursting.

Here is the fact - DWSD bills for drainage based on annual wet weather treatment costs, determined by analyzing the volume of flow treated on dry days versus wet weather days. This equates to a simpler billing process.
