Sports bar is really well done - the Sharks game was on four screens, how could it not be awesome?

Amtrak California is pretty good with the Surfliner between SLO and LA and LA and San Diego. Other than areas where the coast is falling into the ocean and mudslides.
Capitol Corridor and Goldrunner are pretty reliable too.

We subsidize rural areas in part because they produce food and recreation. We put major infrastructure in rural areas to support the needs of cities - dams, power lines, solar farms.

1/50th of the population is a minority. Speaking as a Democrat, where's the equity?

Roads out here are funded by county property taxes & state gas taxes. We get narrow 2 lanes. Our state & federal taxes pay for your 10 lane freeways.
My county sends more tax $ to my state than we get back in services. And we're looked down upon and ignored.

Rural people pay taxes that fund transit just like you do. But we get none.

I'm a fan of transit, BTW. Sure would be nice if city people could advocate for everyone to have access. Even those who choose to (or have to - for work!) not to live in a city.

I will sign a waiver and swear upon my life that all persons in my household are over 21 with functional brains if I could only purchase a gas can spout that pours gas into my truck without having to do voodoo finger cramping magic to get the gas to even dribble out of the can.
