Bouw-, knutsel- en denkwerk door Robrecht Neyrinck; Leonardo Rossi (@sendusyourmartyr ), de mooie raamtekeningen en catacombeschildering zijn van Joke De Wilde , bronnen natuurlijk van het Ruusbroecgenootschap!(toegankelijk tijdens de openingsuren van de bib)
Net op tijd klaar voor de Tenhemelopneming morgen! Onze nieuwe tentoonstelling Lijf & Leden gaat over het lichaam in de christelijke cultuur.
oei, we hebben intussen ook al een andere tentoonstelling geopend (er zijn er vier dit jaar): 'Goddelijke gerechten' - over voedsel in de christelijke cultuur. De fichebak is wel nog steeds te bewonderen in onze leeszaal :-) Zeer welkom op onze nieuwe tentoonstelling!

there was a whole description on how they needed to have a cosy fire burning when people came to visit, so we thought we should make it as accurate as possible - the paperwork is a 'real' miniature version of the 'statuten' btw :-)

the original recipe has "peper coeken", but given the limited distribution of this classic (shame indeed) - I think the equivalents that were suggested are definitely worth a try (we are using ginger in the apple mix too, so this clearly fits the palate)
It's our centenary! We celebrated by creating an exhibit on the founders of the Ruusbroec Institute and its collection. Exhausted but really proud of the result (with Robrecht Neyrinck & Leonardo Rossi) (Come and see! @ our library)
