Attending the Awdry Extravaganza was a weekend where I was able to tick off so many things on my Bucket list, one of them was being able to have Thomas and James photographed next to Awdry's original models. Thank you so much to the staff @talyllyn.co.uk for making this happen!
As the #awdryextravaganza begins tomorrow I have decided to pause work on James and bring him as he is. There is still a lot of work to do but I would like to take my time with no pressure or deadline to get him finished. I will also be bringing Thomas and his two coaches, see you all tomorrow! 😀

I used to go there a lot with my family when I was a kid. Haven't been back since I was at school and I have been meaning to! I still recognise it and all the Trains, I think it's amazing they are still using the same models after all these years!

Last year I was asked to help run the O gauge layout at the Slough Model Railway Exhibition. This is a model of the Slough Estates Sidings close to the Farnham Road railway bridge. Of course Thomas would never have been in the yards, but there may have been one or two 3F Jinties shunting there.

Not blaming the delivery driver this time, but note to 3D Printers, thin buffers might not travel well!
Despite this I'm very happy with my new collection of O gauge Thomas Wagons!

Just received my new O Gauge Wagon!
This is an O gauge replica of the Green Troublesome Truck prop from Thomas. Resin body, with metal wheels and couplings! Detailing is flawless, The model could easily pass for a Dapol or Lionheart wagon!
