A week of beta (alpha?) testing Koan has showed me the difference between a solution I think is neat and how a user actually uses the tool. A lot more work to do! #BuildInPublic

Probably not ideal in the *long run*, but I feel revitalised by thinking about other ideas. Thankfully i haven't had the desire to hard pivot to something new. Yet.
Once you learn how to build things, the desire to keep doing it never goes away.
Do you still agree that buying the domain was the most vital and productive part of the whole process? Please say yes.
Today marks koantum.ai going live, or at least out of some kind of development stealthmode. This is very much still a beta, but Koan is the visual thinking app I've always wanted, and hopefully others might like it too. I'll talk about it more over the next few days.

What a crazy month it's been building Koan. So proud of what this thing can do.
The ideation app I've always wanted is almost ready. #BuildInPublic
I created a Blue Sky account to share my journey as I build an app that hopefully turns into a startup. I begrudgingly also started an X account at the same time, but I've never actually posted. Today I got banned on X for "Inauthentic Behaviour". As you can imagine, I'm absolutely devastated.
Today I hit my first internal dev milestone, whereby I no longer need to rely on thinking and planning in another app, because my thought process is able to live in Koan. The AI is able to suggest insights without cognitive outsourcing or loss of flow. Progress!

My app, Koan, visualises your thought process on a canvas.
My challenge for today has been wrestling with visualising k-neighbours and node βmassβ in a way that a user can understand and set manually. After a quick test, hypothesis is wrong, and Koan auto sets. Small feedback loops ftw.
Hello World π. Adding my voice to the worldβs town squares / echo chambers to map my journey of solo founding the app Iβve always wanted. #BuildInPublic is daunting, but hopefully itβll be rewarding.
