And of course Panic Shack!
And of course Panic Shack!
The Pill are phenomenal, last saw them in 2019(?) supporting Nova Twins, and saw them again tonight supporting Panic Shack. All of these women are superstar rockstar BABES!!!
Beating the bounds rituals werenβt limited to the countryside. Even bustling towns like Oxford and London had boundary-beating ceremonies. City folk too needed a sense of place, and folklore followed the cobblestones as easily as the forest path. #FolkyFriday
Mini ceramic homage to works I made 10 years ago at university. I made a work called βplaypenβ, in which I made 3 fences in these colour ways and had fun blocking corridors and escalators to the tube, directing and dictating spaces to be navigated differently and abruptly
"What is so present in this show is... a vibrancy, vitality and a whiff of rebellion. Play as an act of creative resistance - a refusal to let the rigid structures of work, capitalism and patriarchy dim our light."

Iβm so honoured to have been able to commission Dave Sands to make this film about our silly little community. π₯Ή This is all thanks for GHT and A-Space arts supporting local creative groups and communities. The film is playing on loop in the gallery as well.
