hotels/bnbs in europe in summer are awfullll. Lisbon charges 200-300 a night on average if you want to sleep in a decent place. i dont understand why cause you just can't have a good night sleep at 35C+ 💀

we ended up with a bnb for around 1k euro for three nights for four people :') still yikes, but at least we're only paying for it in July.. and flights from Portugal.. is a whole other story 🥲 and we have people coming from US and Armenia for that, ffs (another reason we *had* to get those tickets)

absolutely not looking forward to buying plane tickets and paying for airbnb later, but hopefully my backlog gets smaller by that time 😔

ugh don't remind me... insanely expensive for just a lil hangout event, basically. treating it as a once in a lifetime occasion bc we've been saving for it (but then hurricane -> dying laptop -> PTSD happened, so i had to take a separate commission just to afford those tickets 💀)

trying to make patreon my UBI, except i offer stuff in exchange + it is supported by kind people and not govt(which refuses to compensate the natural disaster damage to our lives and income) + it is far from covering all the basic/survival needs, but that's a start
