For “Fungus Friday” I present Cordyceps militaris - one of my fave species of murder fungus. I found this one parasitizing the face of a subterranean moth pupa. You can sometimes find its orange club-like fruiting body protruding through the ground in mossy areas during the summer. 🍄📷
