Also you’d probably get a serious overdose of iron trying to consume human blood regularly, which causes organ damage to the heart and liver, arthritis and diabetes

Eh, there’s not much nutritional content in human blood to make it worth consuming. And drinking a good amount would make you violently ill, you’d vomit it back up along with anything else in your stomach (which would be very harmful, dehydration is no joke).

I’m not sure that would work since they don’t have a good source of yeast and the sugar content of a starving persons blood to ferment into alcohol would be negligible at best
