I'm a big enjoyer of Project Silverfish. It has the spirit of an extraction shooter and retains things I like about them, but also a compelling and differently paced single-player experience. Stalker/Stalker-likes would generally scratch many similar itches imo, esp if you don't care about PVP.

RE9 is the first AAA game in a very long time that made me kinda excited for the technology and even a bit nostalgic of the times when a game comes out with some revolutionary tech and you spend hours just looking around and checking stuff.
