I have republished Yochai’s OSR feed, which I was the co-moderator of. Should be working exactly as it was before.
He effectively created the NSR communities and founded the NSR discord. Creator of Cairn. Sells things at cost, non-profit. Generous on time. Focused on creating inclusive space and calling out bad actors. All this super surprising and makes no sense.
Yochai Gal does more community building and work to make the scene inclusive than just about anybody. We should do better

Primarily a researcher into questions about water availability, water quality, habitat, and impacts on ecosystems. Chesapeake and national scale problems.
