Second hydroponic update - my zombie plant is thriving and doing its playing dead thing when I poke it.
Hydroponic garden update - This is officially as lush as it’s ever been - it needs about 5 gallons of water per week! Most of that is my tomato plants, and the first cherry tomatoes are starting to change colors. The spiky plant on the right is my red pineapple plant, grown from seed.

When my weasels act up, I like to rethink it in the second person. If a friend came to me with these types of thoughts, what would I tell them? Try to be as nice to yourself at least to the extent that you would choose to be nice to others. It helps me, at least to some extent.
