With a leaked Labour government memo revealing Starmer's plans to override the devolved governments and impose is will on Scotland and Wales even in devolved matters, devolution has run out of road. It's independence or incorporation into a unitary UK.

Q: How many Green Menaces does it take to challenge Failed Labour and the Far Right Lies in Nottingham?
A: Over 2000 making hope possible by fighting for fair and equal workplaces, the NHS and key utilities in public hands, and lower bills not billionaire bonuses.
Plus we like a nice cake!
AI has NOT "upended the way students learn" like some fairy dust.
Uni-Corps have let it seep in to classes uncontested.
Profs do not "scramble" like panicky eggs.
Uni-Corps have made academic work impossible without rampant slop interference from the most basic tasks to advanced research.
Failed LAB disrespects democracy. Vote them out!
Starmer: βWe should be confident in our ability to deliver directly in those nations, including through direct spending, even when devolved governments may oppose this.β
Ap Iorwerth βA direct assault on the democratic views of devolved governments."
Are you just deliberately trying to jump our pressure us?
And we're not even from the opposite!
They're not called Failed Labour for nothing.
They are so scared of the Green Menaces...all 216,000 of us π
And they should be...
Because we have scientific evidence, compassion and solutions to the problems we all face! ππ½ππ
I get as far as 2 then despair.
Is that the one who used to be in Ready Steady Cook?
I can think of two I'd be pleased to see cross the floor.
And plenty careerists, especially with vulnerable London seats.
Most shocking left field defection prediction: Emiloise?!π«¨
Sh Sh Sh Sh!
I just shallot.
Even though you oce a lot?

Imagine if it had been St. Pancras or Euston ...
A two-panel cartoon by Andy Singer, titled the environmental impacts of cartoon. The first panel lists: animals killed by cars, urban and rural land destroyed by roads and parking, mining emissions, road salt, people killed and maimed, tailpipe emissions, particulates from tyres and brakes, manufacture and disposal impact of metals, solvents and plastics... In the second panel a smug-looking man is telling a horrified woman "EVs eliminate tailpipe emissions"

..and, thanks to a nudge from @nkdgardener.bsky.social about all the problems electrifying vehicles *doesn't* solve, I can't find a better encapsulation than this cartoon from Andy Singer:
Full solidarity with Hannah Spencer, this is absolutely disgraceful behaviour.
This is a direct attack on our democracy, Hannah is an elected MP that has the right to walk free in the city she represents without these extremists behaving like thugs
It's not a War.
It's Warcrime.
It's not a breach of International Order and disregard for UN.
It's a froth-mouthed and arrogant assault on decency, dignity and respect.
It's not WW3.
It's the first and last AI War on Humans and the Planet.
Take care of yourselves and each other wherever you are.
What a brilliant idea for an anthem!
"Not only was the result itself seismic, but the experience of the party mobilising to support the campaign was a step change for the party, a chance to learn, connect and build."
Over 1000 civilians dead, and we're letting Trump use UK bases to further his war.
Britain should stand firm against Trump's illegal warmongering, and stop these bombers landing on UK soil.
Councillor Shuguftah Quddoos and members of the Green Party gather around the day's collected rubbish.
Before: litter everywhere!
Councillor Shuguftah Quddoos and members of the Green Party display their new hi-vis jackets.
After: A Green Party volunteer stands with bags full of collected litter.
Green Party members were out with @councillorq.bsky.social in Berridge Ward today litter picking in the local park and surrounding areas. In total, 8 full bags of rubbish have now been collected and are ready for disposal.
Yeah I know, I was just being facetious. Also planning to boycott it, and heaven knows how, the Wowka (or World cup, as normal people who are not Rick Edwards call it).
Part of me thinks it's just depriving me of things I enjoy, but maybe the trick is to replace them with even nicer things?
Isn't that a bit like boycotting (soft drink manufacturer redacted) by just drinking a couple of cans before you start so you remember what it tastes like?
πI know, I'm being a stickler.
"Since the strikes on Iran began, more than 1,200 people in the country have been killed [...] Conflict has escalated throughout the region, with civilians paying a heavy price."
@elliechowns.bsky.social on the latest developments in the ongoing US-Israel attack on Iran.

Sorry, but not surprised, to hear that Largs has sold out.

A lot of people had a good laugh about this back in 1991. "Oh dear, there goes Harold again."
