At the time I imagined that was a step to signaling a process towards working with the Verstappens.

I’m sure Toto was under contract to still supply engines, but peeling back cooperation with customers is gonna hurt contract renewal

Last year the day after Toto and Verstappen were spotted talking on their yachts, Toto came out and said his biggest mistake was supplying engines to McLaren.

I said at that time I imagine verstappen gave terms for him going to Mercedes, and it would be not supplying engines to customer teams...

Interestingly, the software may have even been maladaptive in spiraling the SOC to make the engine blow up 😬

Well what do ya know, the SOC (“state of charge”) went haywire and it killed Hadjar’s engine. Clever you are, Red Bull 😉

Poor Hadjar knew what was gonna happen at the beginning of the race (“The engine going to ex-[radio cuts out]”)
