The art of finding a quiet corner in the airport, turning on your purifier, and switching to a KN95 for ease of snagging bites of food
I’m going to crash out
The rewritten posts are full of headlines in bold, bullet points, and overuse of emojis. One post for next week talks about how a parent helped kids get to their cars in the rain. The rewrite added the word “today.” For a post in the future. About rain.
Part of my job is managing social media for public school districts across the country.
A superintendent has started rewriting my posts with ChatGPT. Why the fuck I’m still writing anything for them, I don’t know!
I’m going home to MN this week for a lil visit and I am not looking forward to ✨driving in snow✨ again.
Weather I am having to endure this week:
LA: “60. No 75. 90!! NINETY DEGREES!! Ok 60 again. THEN 90 AGAIN!! HAHAHA FUCK YOU!”
Minnesota: “REMEMBER SNOW???? …8.”
I also understand how predatory the US military is. But people could just like… not.
Unfortunately his veteran status means something to some people. To have the imperial arm reject what it was supposed to do is big. May we see fewer and fewer people ever even give an inch to this evil empire, so they’re not making up for sins to begin with.
And you don’t deserve a cookie. When it comes to people like Brian McGinnis, I don’t give a fuck that he’s a veteran. That word means nothing to me. I do give a fuck that he is loudly opposing US and Israeli imperialism. THAT is honorable.
If you once dedicated your “service” to the war machine, you spending the rest of your life vehemently and vocally opposing that war machine is a requirement. Whether you murdered people directly or sat behind a desk, you have sins to make up for.
One 90° day out of nowhere and your body’s gotta remind you you have pots
So I’m going to start saying something more like, “it is not a sterilizing vaccine, so you can still catch and transmit it which is why other precautions are important.” But I also want to communicate the limits of the vaccine because that will be the follow up question lol
Yes! “Prevents” is a big word. As a regular person, if you told me a vaccination would prevent infection, I would expect the protection to be really strong. I know we have much better prevention of infection from other vaccines, but with sars-cov-2 still being so new, I understand it’s not the same.
but it is fact that being vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t still catch and spread ‘vid. Vaccination obviously is still incredibly important, as I emphasize in my follow up video. But I try to communicate mostly to the “vax and relax” crowd. That crowd is almost always my audience!
the first few months, combined with how much it actually prevents infection or transmission right after vaccination, in my unscientific plain person view, doesn’t scream “effective.” I’m going to move away from that word if it makes things clearer,
Hi! I’m not a scientist so maybe there’s meaning behind the word “effective” that I do not understand. I’m going to start pivoting to terms like “sterilizing” or “neutralizing” to better communicate what I mean when I talk about this, but to my knowledge, the waning efficacy of the vaccine within
Is this the right liberal site to post this 🥴
I’m not sure that I would dedicate enough time here, as I spend a good amount of time on TikTok and instagram (and not that much on Twitter) and that’s already too much but I can give it another shot! This app is probably much different than it was the last time I tried and got bored with it lol
I had to redownload this app that my storage saver automatically offloaded just to reply here. Hi hello. www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8xkwQ9U/
Hi friends! I never post on here, but I did finally start a public Instagram page where I will cross post some TikTok content and share things! www.instagram.com/juliesaysthi...
Additionally, Katie’s 4-year-old daughter Zasha has Down syndrome and requires extra support. The bare minimum is ensuring Zasha can eat. Thank you so much to anyone who can spare anything at all 🖤
Katie has been through a lot this year & is adjusting to single motherhood. Last month, she only received $38 from the state. Her average grocery cost/month is $160. We hope to supplement what’s been lost from SNAP. Anything over that would help cover medications & other bills.
I’m raising funds for my dear childhood friend who is struggling amidst SNAP benefits being cut off. I know everyone is going through it, but I’m hoping to secure 2 months worth of groceries for her and her 4 yr old daughter. I have kickstarted it: venmo.com/u/hoolie_r
Ok clarification: it is not reusable. But if you aren’t in need of masks right now, a heads up that Wellbefore is dropping some new patterns soon. I don’t know when exactly but it is incoming! In case you want to save this code for when that happens. 🙂↕️ I’ll let you all know
I love the 3D KN95, both the regular and the Pro. The Pro has a foam nose pad and a slightly different shape in the front.

I had a good conversation with the WB founder who said they’re always looking for feedback from people on the quality and fit of the masks and they’ve been making tweaks over time. Masks should be free, but at least there’s a lowER cost option that exists with a good selection. Stay safe everybody
You should be able to shop using the link and it will automatically add the discount, or you can manually add it during checkout 😷
I’m excited to share that you can now shop 10% off on Wellbefore with my code JULIE10, and I get a lil commission too. Wellbefore is my favorite mask brand and I’ve been hoping to get people a reusable discount since I talk about them so much!! wellbefore.com/JULIE10
long covid for 5 years and my son too.”
She went on to talk about the problems finding care and lack of knowledge in healthcare about pots and the research about it being autoimmune, her struggles with LC, etc etc.
Guess who wasn’t wearing a mask?
