Building upon the years of anticipation building around BTS comeback album ARIRANG, Spotify is launching a wide-ranging partnership with the group to help fans cross the finishline until they can finally listen to the record in full. Late on Tuesday, March 10, BTS and Spotify announced their wide-ranging "SWIMSIDE" partnership campaign featuring a combination of special in-app experiences, exclusive content from all seven members, and immersive pop-up events around the world. According to early details, the campaign will not only connect fans to BTS next era, but also honor the music and artistic legacy that RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have created.
"SWIMSIDE" pulls its name from ARIRANG's lead single "SWIM," which was co-written by BTS leader RM alongside the group's longtime musical producer PDogg, OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, 3OH!3 member Sean Foreman, among others. The song is produced by Tyler Spray (whose recent work ranges from Bad Bunny's "DtMF," Dove Cameron's "Too Much," and KATSEYE's "Debut") and (who's been behind Anitta's "Aceita," Diplo and Marren Morris'"42" and Jung Kook's Major Lazer collaboration "Closer to You"). The campaign officially kicks off on Friday, March 13, with the launch of "Decoding ARIRANG," an interactive in-app experience on Spotify designed as a final countdown to the LP, a week before its unveiling. Decoding ARIRANG is just the opening move in what's looking to be a carefully orchestrated rollout that treats this comeback album as an event in its own right.
For Spotify, this new BTS partnership represents an evolution of the platform's longstanding investment in artist-fan relationships. The company is known for building out initiatives such as Spotify Wrapped, Canvas, and exclusive content to deepen listener engagement beyond passive streaming. SWIMSIDE feels like an even more ambitious step to lean into BTS's uniquely enthusiastic ARMY fandom, which is also looking to take their album experience deeper than just listening. As previously reported, ARIRANG itself carries substantial symbolic weight and is central to the group's legacy. The title invokes one of Korea's most famous folk songs and for BTS, a group that has spent more than a decade navigating the intersection of Korean identity and global-pop stardom, using it to title their comeback album is not a casual decision. Instead, ARIRANG suggests it will be an album grappling with legacy, roots, and what it means to come home - literally and metaphorically.
Not only are the members heavily involved with the songwriting, production and vision of the album, but the LP includes an international cast of hitmakers including Diplo, Mike WiLL Made-It, Teezo Touchdown, Flume, JPEGMafia, Kevin Parker and more through the 14-song tracklist. After BTS released their first-ever live album last July with Permission to Dance on Stage - Live (which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200), BTS have not released a large musical project together since 2022's Proof. BTS' ARIRANG album drops in full on March 20, 2026, with the group's comeback campaign "SWIMSIDE" with Spotify beginning in just a few days, on March 13, via the launch of "Decoding ARIRANG."

It’s really good!! I like it room temp. It works great with those big pre-chopped bags of kale from the grocery store. I put a little black vinegar on mine sometimes too.
My go to for kale is to make it into a banchan like sigeumchi namul (시금치나물)
I make it for meal prep on Sunday & pair it with whatever protein I feel like, usually tofu.
This one is good but you can modify any spinach banchan recipe you like by cooking longer
