I’ve roughly laid out routes for this, would love to actually formalize it. Includes hiking, trail walking/cycling, mtn. biking…. even floating the river with a pack raft!

He was one of the only things I liked about Twitter (X). 🤓
Seeing someone else mention this one gave me chills. So good, and people never know of it.
Gross. Bike theft feels particularly awful to me.
Spokane Valley usually gets me first review comments within a week.
Isn’t it interesting how ships, cars, and… coal?… are “she” and nobody takes issue.
Genuinely “correct views” don’t require permission to share.
This non-vegetarian hits MTH for the buffalo cauliflower.
And “most people” would say WTF is “policy activity”
We had the best time at The Arc of Spokane’s “Rock the Runway” gala fundraiser. Experiencing the sheer joy of people with disabilities strutting across the stage reinforced the importance of dignity and accessible community.
My fiancé (who is a physician) humored me by acknowledging her likeness to Dr. King.
And yes… great show.
Best way to make public spaces feel safe: use them.
Me too. Beautiful design by ALSC Architects, and skillful installation by Cameron-Reilly.
First bus at the new Mirabeau Transit Center… right at sunrise.
Came across this item on eBay. Interesting final statement in “Free Meals, Delayed Trains”.
An America (better known as the United States) where compassion trumped being Great.
I’ve been riding City Line to GU basketball games and wondering why nobody else is. It’s actually much more convenient than parking blocks away.
Dammit… you’re right. I just missed a hilarious joke!
Professionals (and decent humans) don’t tell kids they’re stupid and/or full of shit.
Really enjoyed the Saturday night Banff Film Festival at the Fox Theater. Big focus on climate change, but not so much the cause… just the reality and consequences.
Fact is, it’s happening. The obvious need to consider human impact is only controversial to the comfortably oblivious.
A year ago I proposed at the summit. ❤️ Not a difficult hike for reasonably able-bodied people. The exposure is more than you’d likely expect, but the chains are solid. Much scarier coming down than going up.
Thanks for a good year, Spokane.
Ease of use by out of towners. I’m always shocked when I use public transit in other cities and can’t easily figure it out.
I kinda hate the need to “justify” e-bikes. Anyone riding an e-bike is not driving a car, and that’s the “giant leap for mankind” we need right now.
Our Spokane favorites…
Breakfast: The Satellite, Kalico Kitchen
Lunch: Perry Street Brewing
Dinner: Union Tavern
All easily accessible by bus. And these picks are because of the staff as much as the food.
What’s your list look like?
Thank god for super rad transportation reporters!
Hi there! I’m a Project Manager for Spokane Transit, love that you’re doing this… I’ve dabbled in something similar. Would love to be a resource.
