Well, if you can manage next month's, then we'll say no more about it.
He is, isn't he. And it's great seeing him play songs he wasn't originally part of.
Anytime, Mark!
Lovely Dave Gregory is his official title, lol. Are you going to see EXTC when they play Scotland next month?
You mean make us extremely jealous, lol. Though I did meet Dave Gregory last year and saw EXTC in my hometown. But that will never beat seeing the band in their prime.
My pleasure, Kenny. Any excuse to play XTC and chat with fellow fans.
Yeah, I gather it's not the most popular of their albums but there's definitely some gems in there. Cheers for joining in, Kenny!
Cheers Ben!
Was really good to have a reason to play "Go 2" again. Its probably my least played by #XTCMusic for me but its got some absolute stormers on it. Looking forward to some drums and possibly even wires next month. Thanks @xtclisteningparty.bsky.social for organising it.

But did you like it, Tony? #XTCMusic

Thanks once again to everyone who joined in tonight's listen-along! It's all change next month, as it's goodbye to Barry and hello to Dave when we listen along to DRUMS AND WIRES! Next month's party will start at the usual time (9 PM GMT) on Wednesday 25 March! #XTCmusic
And talking of music videos, I'd love for all their videos to be remastered somehow and maybe feature on a DVD with the This Is Pop documentary and maybe some updated interviews. #XTCmusic
ARE YOU RECEIVING ME? To bring the listen-along to a close, the bonus track on the album reissue. This was also released as a single, reaching no.86 in the UK. Not everyone will have the album with this track, so here's the music video the band filmed for it. www.youtube.com/watc... #XTCmusic
I've been making a proper effort to listen to new bands in the past year. Which included a little known band called... XTC!
You can feel the evolving of Colin's songwriting on this album, so his work on the next album is a natural progression from Go 2. #XTCmusic

I AM THE AUDIENCE The penultimate track of tonight's party comes courtesy of Colin. Another track to get the Dub treatment ('Clap Clap Clap'). #XTCmusic
Super Tuff could easily have been a song that wouldβve sounded not out of place on Magazineβs Secondhand Daylight
