Yep I struggle with this too. Both because I feel super done after grading, and because I feel there’s never enough time. If I debrief before everyone has turned it in, then answers are given away to ones who were absent, and by the time they’re all done, we’ve moved way past this topic.

Anyone looking to ban a book from a school should have to prove they read it by presenting a book report to the school committee.
I mean this is what they’ve been trying to do to public education for years. Defund into oblivion, then say “see how awful public schools are?” so they can privatize it all
