I find it unfair that my back injury left me with some amount of permanent numbness along the outside of my right foot but that it still hurts unbelievably when I stub my little toe. Why couldn’t that stupid little thing stay numb?

I want to emphasize that AXIS's demise largely arose from Goddard being forced to align with FY26 president's budget request (PBR) which zeroed the Probe program. Goddard lost SO MUCH following the PBR, even though the Congressional budget kept that funding! Remember that as FY27 PBR comes soon. 🔭🧪

Apparently there are *two* stretches of I-10 that they’re putting at 1 lane each way at night right now. It was horrible and even the truckers were surprised (one had to use the shoulder to stop without hitting me). They should have had more warning by way of lights/police
I did manage to go back to sleep when I woke up at 6:30.

It’s even worse! I think he wants her to cuddle with him! He sometimes goes for the shoulder rub/head butt all “hey best buddy” and just fails to grasp that she will never be interested. She hisses at him for being within 6 feet 😹
It’s a slow process! And sometimes some cats never get used to being picked up. Thankfully Ash seems on board with the idea. Just still getting used to it
He seemed to enjoy how well it let me scritch his neck once he was in position. Been practicing holding in lap and then holding against chest for a while!
Yeah. Though he doesn’t use them like he should. Poor bubs is not a fighter. Roxie bloodied his ear again two days ago. Sigh. But no nail trimming for him! (Practicing touching toes though!)

Been working on teaching my favorite formerly feral outside cat about being held like a baby (belly up, cradled; G&E love it) and I need to do that with long sleeves on 😂. He absolutely didn’t mean/want to scratch me, he just has very sharp claws and the flip maneuver confused him a bit
