Apparently there are 30 copies of my book to be had for free from Norton, if you win this drawing: www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sho...
I mean... I'm wondering. Shall we have an offline chat? ;)
I really hope this goes great for you and I want to hear details. I think itβs the best way. But I was hit with major resistance. (Weβre also supposed to receive accommodations before the start. These students clearly went back to complain about the specific burden of my class to get them modified.)
ME TOO, Ali. I am still marveling at that exchange and try to figure out if I was just telling them the futureβsomehow it hadnβt hit there yet, in an obvious way?βor if it was willful ignorance. I lean toward the latter.
I tried to do this last fall and literally half my class went to SDS that day and got accommodation emails sent to me saying they should be allowed to type instead of writing in class. I don't want to dismiss actual disabilities, but... HALF my class. Do you have workarounds for that? I gave up.
Me too.
