No :)
No :)
Anyone remember the $1 menu? Lmao
I’d pick it up around there for sure. I’m not expecting Valve to sell for a loss, since it’s not that kind of device, but l do think given what we know about the performance so far (which isn’t a ton) the closer they can get to $600 the better imo.
But I don’t think $900 is a very good value proposition either personally…
Have you seen the price of RAM right now?
6x steam deck isn’t very high, and the rumored price of this thing is astronomical.
Hoping they can figure something out and get this out at a reasonable price, I had the original Steam machine back in the day. Just hoping this isn’t another flop like that one was.
I’m aware of what this post is about. The PC is 6x the power of a steam deck. I worry the price and performance will not be worth it. Hoping to be proven wrong.
Price is likely going to be the bigger factor, and rumor has it this thing is gonna be EXPENSIVE
That’s fair, but for the price this will end up being you should probably just buy a full sized pc. Idk, maybe it’ll be cheaper than we think.
I’m failing to see who this is for? If it’s weaker than every console on the market and costs significantly more, why would anyone buy this?
Anything but a regular direct
Really drives the point home, doesn't it?
How dare he!!!!!!
This is the comment I came looking for 🙂↕️
To anyone who knows me, none of this will be a surprise…
Arguably the games with the biggest impact on me (restricted to 1 per franchise or else the whole list would be FINAL FANTASY and Persona lmao)

I’ve never related to a clip more in my life 😭
Post some of your favorite, female, video game characters for international women’s day

Thinking about low res pikachu.
Yes. So would I.
This is what I always imagined would be the future when we got better hardware 🙂↕️
Glad to see someone agrees with me
This is also not specifically about EA. This is what most live service shooters have moved to. Yes it would be awesome to have no monetization after launch. That was actually something Concord did that I liked.
But if they’re gonna charge for anything, I’d rather it be this instead of maps / guns.
So you do still not get what I’m saying at all.
It’s really not complicated. They are going to monetize their game. That’s not optional for a live service game. It IS greedy. They have chosen to monetize their game with a skin shop and battlepass instead of charging for guns / maps.
That’s better.
These are totally real photos and not AI slop at all 💅🏻
I’ve always had that stance. The only reason I’m still replying is because you are seemingly not understanding the point I’m making.
For a live service multiplayer game, one that’s meant to last for years and years, if they’re going to monetize ANYTHING, my only point is that I would rather it be stuff like a skin shop and battlepass instead of making us pay for maps again.
You’re allowed to disagree if you wish
No I do understand, I don’t like it in most situations. Like you said earlier it sucks that paid games also have things to make you spend money. ESPECIALLY single player games.
But live service games ARE going to be monetized. I agree it’s greedy, but it’s just what’s gonna happen.
Post launch money, which is something that matters to them on live service games.
You and I can agree it’s greedy, but if we’re comparing both strategies, one of them benefits me more than the other. So I prefer that one.
Obviously if I could just have free maps AND cosmetics, that’d be better.
They keep popping up every couple years to confirm the game is still being worked on but refuse to actually show anything 😭
I know this stuff takes time but please, show us literally anything! I want to believe this shit is real!
Really hoping the Supreme Court ruling that ai content can’t be copyrighted holds up because I think that will be a HUGE deterrent for these companies trying to rely on AI generated resources in their games! 🙌🏻
