First FDA-cleared Alzheimer's blood test could make diagnoses faster, more accurate The first Alzheimer's blood test cleared by the Food And Drug Administration is poised to change the way doctors diagnose and treat the disease.

In case you missed it: the FDA cleared the first blood test to help diagnose Alzheimer’s this week.

For too long, Americans have struggled to get a simple and accurate diagnosis. This action is a step toward earlier, less invasive detection, which can lead to better access to care and treatment.
