It's been in my head for a long time to try to create a minor hours (terce/sext/none) and maybe prime in contemporary English with the Psalms of the 1979. Ideally I could print it in a booklet and just have it as a addendum to a regular 1979 BCP or something like that.

Isn't Bonhoeffer usually considered to be a "liberal" Christian? I've heard (but I've never actually read him) that he denied to virgin birth among other things.
