(Most) video games need enemies! ⚔️
So for the "Techmages" faction I experimented a bit with how they could look like if they lost their humanity and were consumed by a crystalline power source. It was quite fun to imagine how they would move around and fight the player!😊💕

Today is Andalusia's day and I thought I'd share this one again as it was inspired by my homeland 💚🤍💚

Also I think it's important to try to be gentle with oneself and reach out for help occasionally. 🫂💕 I really hope this passes soon for you and you'll feel better and more positive (about doing art) again 💖🫂 Take care!

Sometimes it helped to draw something absolutely self-indulgent, sometimes switching up media (digital/traditional), sometimes stepping away from drawing for a while...

So at the moment I don't really have a perfect solution for that.. but know that you're definitely not alone with this. 🫂💕

Now that the weather is getting warmer there's a whirlwind of lizard activity outside. We piled up some branches in the back and inadvertently made a 5-star resort for the little fellas - it's so fun to watch them! 💛

While this is a mix of styles and media (traditional Korean paints on Hahnemühle agave paper, so...) I raided the local library for books on Minhwa and learned a lot from historical paintings. The flowers and peach tree here are inspired by those. 🪷

The last truely wild horse, Przewalski's horses are not directly related to modern domesticated horses. They went functionally extinct in the wild due to over hunting, but thanks to a successful captive breeding program they have been reintroduced to their native home of Central Asia.

Horses are believed to have been domesticated in Central Asia over 6000 years ago, and now can be found all over the world in domestic and feral populations.

Believed to be the direct ancestors of domesticated donkeys, Wild Asses are hardy animals suited to life in the deserts on the Horn of Africa. They are critically endangered due to over hunting, habitat loss and interbreeding with domesticated species.

After much scientific debate, the Zebra's distinct black and white stripes are now believed to help deter bites from disease carrying insects. Unlike their more docile relatives, the Zebra has never been successfully domesticated owing to their more aggressive and unpredictable temperaments.
