Jeffries himself voted for the resolution and I think you have to really examine your language skills if you think less than 2% of Democrats in Congress voting for the war is "overwhelming"

I get your cynicism but if you don't think $100-150 barrels of oil and shutdowns of various parts of the economy bc there is little oil flowing won't cause immense pressure to at least curtail many parts of the war then I don't know what to say.

Yes Trump and his admins don't care about regular ppl but when a barrel of oil gets to above $100 and starts slowing down key industries they will start to care - bc they do care about money

A. There isn't "overwhelming bipartisan support" - the house voted down the resolution to limit the war very narrowly (having a couple of Dems isn't "overwhelming bipartisan"

B. When billionaires are calling Trump saying they are fucking up business there will be more pressure

He won't be held accountable in any meaningful way but angering a lot of his base and many electeds and business people from his own party when the average gallon of gas will be like $4-4.50 in the coming weeks will create a lot of pressure to wind things down soon
