Here we go again
Matt Vickers MP made a Conservative party video about the removal of Churchill from the fiver... and Vickers says:
"As Churchill himself once said 'a nation that forgets its past has no future.'
It's a FAKE QUOTE Churchill never said that.
Vickers is a shadow minister
My friend in the Czech Republic has messaged me to give his opinion on whether British bank notes should feature a badger or Churchill.
Nice that our island continues to lead the global agenda.
The Middle East is on fire, UK military bases are under attack, energy prices are going through the roof and the official opposition is spending its week wanging on about pictures of otters

I think I've probably used a bank note once in the past month and maybe a coin at some point too to get a supermarket trolley.
Amazing how much energy is being spent this week by the right of British politics on something that is rapidly becoming an irrelevance

Native British Animals you say?
Letβs be honest, sheβd send a P&O ferry and have Iain Duncan Smith sailing it.
It's no longer OK for you to sit in the house of Lords because your dad did.
But if your mate put you there?
That's fine.
Neither of these really feel like democracy to me.
Heβs got this bang on.
This ghoul has finally been fired. But make no mistake, Stephen Miller is still in charge of DHS and especially ICE.
Reform fury as someone else wins by Our By-election Editor Tim Shipsink The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost comprehensively to someone else. "It's totally unfair and rigged," said Goodwhinge. "I shouldn't be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost." Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me. Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X. "We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families." Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice. They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green." Reform leader Mr Farage, speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said, "It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either." Beautiful from Private Eye on the massive toddler-tantrum that Matt Goodwin and Reform are having, because they got whooped in Gorton and Denton.
Telegraph front page: 'Starmer is no Churchill'
But Trump's no FDR.
Sometimes I forget how much I still love London, but not tonight.
No, itβs not Churchill, heβs dead. Itβs actually Starmer, yβknow the UKs PM, you fluorescent orange dickhead. Heβs clearly doing the right thing if itβs got his back up.
You have to watch this.
Someone please notify Trump that we plan to build a perimeter of Sharia windmills around the entirety of his golf course in Scotland.
Hopefully we can trigger something.

Melania Trump is chairing a UN Security Council meeting.
I'm not joking.
The US currently holds the presidency of the council and that's who Trump chose as chair.
Heβs gonna kill Americans while sat in his little party palace in Florida eating McDonaldβs. Get in the bin. This isnβt just on him. Itβs on the enablers. On everyone who voted for him pretending itβs just all a game. Itβs on the Dems most of all for fucking up the Biden transition.
This!
No one in their right mind can dispute that the Iranian regime of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was bad news for the region. But neither a Mossad black op nor American B-2 bombers will bring peace to the Middle East, or freedom to Iranians.

Chris Mason on the BBC's Gorton and Denton by-election 'Newscast' suggesting that Reform's massive defeat is somehow still good for them because they collectively (alongside the Greens) got such a large section of the vote, like in Caerphilly with Plaid.
I'm not sure that's how elections work...
Kemi Badenochβs statement following the Gorton and Denton by election: Labour created the monster of harvesting Muslim community bloc votes and yesterday that monster came back to bite them. As I've said many times before, we are a multiracial country, not a multicultural country. If you stir up grievance politics between groups based on religion or race, as Labour have done for decades, as Reform are seeking to do, and as the Greens have done successfully in this by-election, you are pitting neighbours against each other and you start to unravel the culture of tolerance that makes Britain great. Our country is not broken, but this by-election showed that Labour, Reform and the Greens are trying very hard to break it. Labour trying to buy people off with more and more benefits spending. Reform telling people you can't be British if you aren't white. The Greens running a nasty, sectarian campaign while simultaneously wanting to legalise crack-cocaine. Clearly this election was not about who would be the best MP. But there was only one sensible candidate standing in Gorton and Denton, and it was Charlotte Cadden - a former Deputy Chief Inspector, a mother, a woman who fought for single sex spaces and dignity for women and girls. While the other parties race to the bottom, Charlotte embodies the new Conservative Party. This result shows Keir Starmer's premiership is finished. He lost authority a long time ago, a mere hostage at the mercy of a divided Labour Party that cannot decide who to replace him with. He has lost the support of his voters, his MPs and the country. He is in office but not in power. If he had any integrity he would go. Keni Buderach Kemi Badenoch Leader of the Conservative Party
Oh my word.
Unhinged springs to mind!π±
Badenochβs βonly sensible candidateβ won just 2% of the vote!
