*You* aren't acing anything. And the β€œbusywork”? You mean the coursework. It just does the coursework.

"This is a priority for him because these past thinkers β€œcan still adversely impact how we view the political landscape today.” In light of this admission, one is naturally very interested to hear his answer to Leo Strauss's famous question, "What is political philosophy?"

Had a lot of fun playing with the band last night at Deep Cuts in Boston (ok, Medford), opening for J Robbins Band playing Burning Airlines material. Thanks to friends who came out to see the show! This is the beautiful kit I played, borrowed from Pete, the J Robbins drummer.

I agree with the general sentiment, but please bear in mind employee-owned companies like Hackett and Norton, who aren't university presses, but offer high quality books at very reasonable prices! (Disclosure: I am the Publisher at Hackett).

Also wondering if there's a German word for when you see something that could go wrong if you don't address the issue, you don't address the issue, and then in short order exactly what you'd feared happens. Like breaking electronics by leaving plugged in with clear danger of tripping over the cord.

Also seems false in my experience attending various philosophy conferences. Maybe my judgment is off because it's *definitely* less homogenous than it used to be, and I'm mainly noticing that difference.
