one will be the more hyped up RPG music i've been writing lately, and the other one will primarily be the material i was writing before that, which was more somber sounding, the soundtrack to wandering through dark lands and ancient crumbling ruins

been putting this off, but i'm finally sorting through all my music from the past year and arranging it into albums. trying to make two distinct albums but they are both roughly double-album length right now. and that is after paring them both down a bit. i think i wrote too much music

the localization of this game is wild but i'm even more astounded at the insane visuals this game just whips out of nowhere. what do you mean i'm having a vision of a skull man sitting in a throne in space while paintings spin around us and he explains the fate of humanity. that's so cool...

The game's translation is a bit clunky, but the emotion of scenes like this still manages to hit really hard for me. The music being really damn good helps too

Somehow I completely missed this last time I tried it, but they straight up put Lucca from Chrono Trigger in this game as a lil easter egg. Which is especially interesting now knowing that Xenogears was being developed as a Chrono Trigger sequel at one point
