Stumbled upon this 1933 cartoon "Europas "Freie" Volkers!" Tye Free Peoples of Europe! A critique of industry and the domination of capital. Digging further I found out it was by Willibald Krain a press cartoonist for German socialist and liberal publications before being banned by the Nazis.
The CIA like all other intelligence services shouldn't be trusted or revered. However intelligence services do spend a large chunk of their budgets on research and archives. This move impedes global research and validation.
The CIA just stopped publishing their World Factbook and took every page, including the archived copies of previous versions!
