I have BPPV & it is the WORST. An episode feels like being shoved in a barrel, thrown roughly down a bumpy hill, & landing in a rapid before finally crawling ashore feeling more nauseous (& vomiting) than you ever have in your life. I'm glad to see people speaking about how debilitating it is.
