I retrieved a lot of old cans from an area at work that has been used as an unofficial rubbish bin for decades. Only managed to get down the pile to just into the 1980’s which is only about 7 inches down into the container (another 2.5 feet to go!) but it’s very restricted access.
The can museum says 70’s but not a specific release year. The subsequent design change was in 1985.
So this one could be between 1970 - 1984 👍
