The upcoming US midterms may seem like an American domestic political battle, but the fight is for its very democracy and its being paid for in Iran, in Ukraine and in spilled blood all over the world.
It doesn’t work like that when:
1) oil infrastructure is blown up
2) the war has already shown the US cannot defend the Gulf states, so shipping risk stays high - pushing up insurance costs too
3) Iran can choke Strait of Hormuz
4) previous wars have seen oil stay high long after war.

Injuries apart. Gomez is never fit. I think Slot wanted back 5 with frimpong who has struggled with ftness and kerkez who understandably took time to adapt to big club, up and down wings . Obviously last minute failure to sign Guehi meant that all had to change. I could be wrong mind!!
With the new signings which obviously went out window when he didnt sign. Finally poor managerial decisions, terrible finishing (gakpo v utd for example) and an inability to defend set pieces over much of season is why we are where we are imo.
