How do you explain your SO that wanting to drive 1k to a wedding rather than Uber to the airport, lay over for 3 hours, fly to a 3rd airport, then renting a car for a 60 mile drive, only to do the reverse to get home is more of an “anti-airport” thing than a “car guy” thing?

Even in his most active years, we’re talking 5 shows a week (oddly, there seem to be instances where he doubled up a day or so a week); let’s say, 52 weeks; 260 shows a year. So, 19.23~ miles a show.
