I found out that a microphone stand is the best holder for a baby monitor. I printed a small adapter and used a 3D pen to attach a tripod thread to it.

Getting to understand the basics of gcode and pen plotter software :-)

Finally upgraded my 3D printer to work as a pen plotter!

A lamp I built as an example while preparing for a design workshop at a Prague high school this week.

I 3Dprinted small pen holder for my live-drawing event tomorrow :-)

It's not that easy to create a dice that rolls in the fourth dimension. My tesseract broke in the process.

My 92-year-old grandfather showed me that he can no longer solve difficult Sudoku puzzles without making notes in the margins. Whenever I visit, I see him sitting at the table solving logic puzzles, Sudoku, or Kakuro. I admire him. When I wrote the book Grandfather years ago, he was my inspiration.

I wonder why designers rarely share the dead ends they faced. A six-sided die may be boring, yet we’re so used to its symbols that any change could confuse us. Could chopsticks be redesigned? Is a coffee grinder optimal? What would a new die look like?

There have been some big changes recently, but I think the structure will stay the same for now, at least for a couple of weeks 🙃

I’m mostly camera shy. But here I’m wearing a cap that I make and taking photo with a lens I make (Monocle lens), so for marketing and self-promotion purposes…

First merch drop, but only limited colors and only 100% organic cotton. I think they still get the gaps somewhere from China though. I wish to have those skills to make my own caps! But still… it made me happy designing them.

I’m not the most organized person. I often start projects with the best intentions, but as the work evolves and expectations shift, my folders can quickly turn into chaos.

This little tool isn’t a perfect solution, but it’s a simple way to set up a solid folder structure from the start.

One Czech company that produces traditional bent chairs asked me to draw portraits of people during the Design Festival. I am using the curves of their furniture as inspiration for the portraits.

Tom from the past bought this camera, too. I loved the mechanism for rewinding the film using the same lever that you use to pull the film, and I loved the design. However, the pictures were not very sharp, and I missed a lot of good shots with this camera. The Olympus XA2 is much better.

Built a tiny Encrypt App in HTML/CSS/JS. Not the safest method, but fun for games—your name is the key to decrypt messages. Imagine using it at summer camp to pass secret notes.
