If you're in the neighborhood, please come make your voice heard! Pioneer Square was the original walkable neighborhood and over time it's turned over too much space to cars. Let's regain some of that space for walkers, rollers, and riders!

@spokanerising.com
At this point, theyβre historically out of use and we must respect the fact that theyβre no longer in use.
Historic Lumen Field, just like the Victorian era stadiums
Yes, just not in use.
I called in and commented in support! We need these bathrooms down here.
SB 6026 will significantly boost where builders can site new apartments. The flexibility in ground-floor commercial is a key (and controversial) part of the new law. www.sightline.org/2026/03/11/w...
What if we stick with townhome zoning for Pinehurst though? You know, to maintain the character of the neighborhood?
It took forever to get approval, and when it finally did the market didn't support the buildout.
Itβs weird because they most likely wouldnβt even be made in his district. He just has really bad ideas.
Do you know why this only covers Portland MSA and not the entire state?
Incredible that we're still doing DRB for a 6-unit TH project. Easy win for @mayorofseattle.bsky.social to delete this program
I was really hoping with our new Mayor we'd do away with these types of community meetings in favor of just doing the right thing.
TIL there are two residential condos on top of Harvard Market. They're both right on top of the old Bartells. One of them even sold 2 years ago for $2m!

Chevy Equinox (??) rear ends a Ford F-150. How fast do you have to be going for the Equinox to end up like that? Speed limit here is 25 mph.
More proof that the state needs to take over planning.
Those numbers are totally wild. 60 deaths in 1940 when the population was 368k. In 2024 we had 38 at nearly 800k residents, and 2024 was a bad year (only 27 in 2019)!
Because parking is incredibly profitable and Diamond (+others) have no reason to sell.
that's just a walrus
1st and Jackson would deeply benefit from daylighting.
He's doing his best to forget
These look really nice for Seattle townhomes
Brett sounds like a sourpuss. There are likes on it and itβs easy to see
Democrats often speak about βstakeholder engagementβ and I think they really expect everyone to be on board with something before doing it. Cue 25 community meetings about adding safety features to Lake Washington Blvd.
I took the 7 once and it was the only time Iβve seen someone undress on transit. Canβt imagine how awful this line must be for people who take it regularly.
This would be such an easy win for Wilson
One of the coolest streets in Manhattan is Stone St. A former road that's been converted into outdoor dining. Pike Place could go this route and provide so much more revenue opportunities for restaurants, and better dining options for patrons.
One of the remaining progressive voices on Twitter referred to her as "Killer Wilson" because of the sweep. LOL!
Capital markets may take issue with that timeline lol
Iβd love to know how we can land bank sites around future light rail stops even though we donβt know where future light rail stops areβ¦
