On the left is WaDom (with a capital D) and it shows a picture of WaDom from Turn A Gundam. On the right is Wadom (lowercase d) which is a Dom from Gundam 0079 with a Waluigi hat and mustache.

At the bottom it says in all caps "LEARN THE DIFFERENCE".

Issues with Fukui aside, Syam is terribly handled in the OVA. He comes off as a kind grandpa rather than a manipulative prick who killed any of his offspring who went against his plan. None of the Vist drama really gets communicated in the OVA.

Wait till you get to Mahdi Garvey, dude is written like he unfrozen from the War on Terror which considering when the novel was written Al-Qaeda was probably the author's only reference point for Muslim culture.
There's a reason in the anime they had had him already dead and just focused on Loni.

Beyond the burning tail of the work boat, there were two figures wearing
spacesuits he had never seen before, and they used the thrusters on their backs to come
closer. As they approached, they grew larger and larger. A red light on what he thought
were their helmets flashed, and they raised their machine-gun like weapons and pointed
them in his direction. Without thinking, Syam held up his hands, but they ignored him
and rapidly advanced. They looked like suits of armor from ancient times. Their bodies
were dark green, and they both carried a shield attached to one shoulder. Each head
contained a single, glowing eye. No, they werenโ€™t spacesuits. More to the point, they
werenโ€™t even human. As they passed by, one after the other, he was able to get a good
look at their enormous bodiesโ€”it sounded unbelievable, but they must have been
twenty meters tall.
Caught in their violent wake, Syam was tossed around like a piece of garbage, and
his attention turned toward the one-eyed giantsโ€™ destination. He saw the arc of the
radiant blue Earth, as well as a monstrously large cylinder, decorated with countless
rings of exploding light. It looked like a giant gas tank with three vane-like mirrors
attached to it, and he had seen it before on TV. The pillar of the Space Emigration

Project, an Island Three-type colony. But the three long vanes were mangled, and there
were burn marks all over the surface of the cylinder. It almost looked like it had been
turned to scrap. The largest object ever built in human history, which had looked so
splendid and shining even through the television screen, trembled as its massive bulk
touched the contour of the Earth.
The one-eyed giants followed it, firing their machine guns. They danced wildly
around the colony, easily destroying the spaceships and fighter craft trying to interfere.
The behemoths looked like members of a demonic horde. All the while, the space colony
continued onward, passing through low orbit and coming ever closer to the Earth.
Thirty kilometers long and six kilometers in diameter, the tip of the colony entered the
atmosphere and began to glow red hot as it fell. Sensing the intentions of the giants
trying to guide the colony to its target, Syam let out a desperate scream.
Donโ€™t do it! If you drop something that big, itโ€™ll be disastrous for the Earth! My
mother is down there! Shahla is down there! Stop, Iโ€™m begging you!
The giants didnโ€™t reply, and the light of the burning colony tinted their bodies
with a red hue. The mirror panels had sheared off, and the flaming cylinder evaporated
the clouds as it plunged into the aqueous planet.
Itโ€™s the final judgement of mankind, Syam thought. God has come to put an end
to an evil world and take the good people to heavenโ€ฆif thatโ€™s true, was this inevitable?
โ€œEverything is up to us to decide.โ€
Syam heard someoneโ€™s voice, and the words blew away his sense of resignation.
He fought the urge to close his eyes. The space colony had turned into an enormous
asteroid, and when it hit the ground, the blue veil of the atmosphere was stained a
grayish-brown. There was a flash of light at one point of the Earthโ€™s arc. It grew larger

like the sun at dawn. Syam sobbed. He felt anger, regret, sorrow at his own
powerlessness. He was hit by a surge of emotions that he couldnโ€™t process, which turned
to tears and ran down his face. That light continued to expand, growing even stronger
than the sun and searing his retinasโ€”and there was silence.
He gingerly opened his eyes. His body had stopped spinning. The warning alarm
on his life support system was no longer buzzing, letting him know that his breathing
and pulse rate were out of the danger zone and returning to normal. Through his visor,
it looked like the Earth was standing still. There was no falling space colony, and no
one-eyed giants.
A single teardrop spilled from his eye, floating inside his helmet until the
moisture removal system sucked it up. Was it all a dream? It didnโ€™t feel like he had ever
lost consciousness, and Syam spent some time drifting in confusion. It was such a
surreal nightmare, but one that felt oddly lifelike. He didnโ€™t think that his brain was
capable of creating such an illusion, and as he looked around, still ruminating on the
lingering emotions, he noticed that he was surrounded by countless pieces of wreckage.
Torn exterior panels, support beams, shattered glass. Some of the debris was
more than ten meters in length, and he realized that it had all come from Laplace. It had
been blown out of its original orbit, gaining altitude, and just happened to match Syamโ€™s
relative speed when he was sent flying by the explosion. The debris field was drifting
slowly by, enough to feel like it wasnโ€™t moving at all. Ruins, floating in the void. A
solitary spacesuit trapped in low orbit for all eternity, surrounded by the wearerโ€™s own
handiworkโ€ฆ With his thoughts wandering, and feeling a renewed sense of confusion at
the terrible stillness, Syam noticed something sparkling in the flotsam.

At first he thought it was a fragment of one of Laplaceโ€™s concave mirrors. That
was how brightly the object shone as it reflected the light of the Earth. He ignited his
thruster, which had enough propellant to work for another ten seconds, and moved
toward the source of the gleam.
It was strange how little he feared dying. There was something more powerful,
almost like a premonition, pulsating deep inside his chest. Compared to the boundless
universe, he and the object were smaller than poppyseeds, and yet they had managed to
match each other's relative speed and find each other. Confronted with this
one-in-a-billion chance, perhaps he was too exhausted to question his own sanity.
Spinning languidly, the smooth surface of the object reflected the Earthโ€™s light.
Syam released another short burst from his portable thruster and came to a stop in front
of it. There were cracks, but the hexagonal shape was still intact. It measured just over
three meters across, with a depth of about thirty centimeters. He could see his own
spacesuit reflected in the mirror polish, and when he reached out with a gloved hand,
his reflection did the same.
Facing one another, the two hands quietly touched.

HE IS GIVEN A VISION OF ZAKUS AND THE FIRST COLONY DROP ON EARTH THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN FOR ANOTHER 79 YEARS AND LIKENS IT TO THE FINAL JUDGMENT OF GOD ON HUMANITY AND BEGS THEM TO STOP WHILE SOBBING BEFORE IT ALL FADES AWAY AND HE FINDS THE UC CHARTER

AND THE OVA DECIDED NONE OF THIS WAS IMPORTANT

Yes! John Brown and Jayhawks stole from slave owners.

If you thought it was OK to steal Black people from Africa and keep them as slaves? Then they thought it was OK to steal them from you and set them free, and to steal all your other stuff and keep it.

If you didn't like it? They took you out.

Bluesky is where it is today thanks to itโ€™s userbase (whom Jay and her friends constantly antagonise and belittle), and also thanks to Elon repeatedly shooting himself in the foot. This place succeeded DESPITE the best efforts of itโ€™s upper management.
