So, for now on when I get that from people I’m going to ask them for a Donation. Because if this administration is going to do bad them maybe they will be the good?
I call myself The Father of Resources. I do get as many resources as I can for these people. The biggest resource is other people. We are a People Helping People Organization. We do a lot of good things with little overhead. I could use your help more than a Catch Phrase.
Or how many people have called me because they can’t afford housing anymore, so now they will be homeless. Or the ones with housing but no heat or gas and a leaking roof. How does your Catch Phrase help them? I could go on.
But what I would like to talk about is how your Catch Phrase doesn’t help when I have mothers calling me when their food runs out. The food stamps are gone, and they have been to all the food pantries, but the food pantries are not getting as much food, and the grocery prices have gone up.
I am good at talking politics. I can talk about how I don’t like the Democrats, and how they have failed to act in certain areas when they had the opportunity. I can talk about the racism in politics. I can talk about how Queer people have been used as pawns.
Currently, I have 1-3 people coming to me dealing with suicidal thoughts a week. I am happy to be a resource for them to come to. I am happy they feel safe with the foundation.
But no, I don’t care for you Catch Phrase, “There is good and bad with every administration.”
. When President Biden dropped out of the Race last year, the numbers started to increase. When the election happened, we had a spike. When Trump took office, we had another spike, but it didn’t go down. It stayed up. We had another spike when our Trans people got hit in the Military ban.
. I started the Foundation to fight the suicide rate in Kansas by providing resources to those who need them and creating spaces for people to come when they need support, when they are in crisis. We started getting 1-2 people a month coming to us for help.
: “There is good and bad with every administration.” They both said it word for word on opposite sides of Kansas. It made me wonder if this is the response given on Fox News. There is bad in every administration… So, let me tell you about some of the bad that I am dealing with.
. I started it because a hole was there, and it needed to be filled. And I will continue to work to fill that hole, regardless of the financial situation. I am blessed to have the opportunity to do so.
However, twice this week, I have heard the same response from people:
It’s sad to see. My foundation lost a grant, and again, I am working without pay for the foundation. My friends are supporting me and helping me get through this, so I can keep the foundation running. I have never done the foundation for money’s sake.
Many people are losing their federal funding. It’s unfortunate. I am sure many people who voted for this administration will be without a job, or their child will be without an education, or some service they need will be unavailable.

We appreciate you efforts for the community and for the youth. I want to send love out to the medical staff this is hurting. I want to send love out to all the youth and their support teams. We need to ban together during these times. Find your community.
This will not be an immediate stopping of medical care for minors. It allows time for the medical team to work with the youth until Dec 31, 2025 to get them off of the care. I want to thank all the advocates and allies that fought this bill.
Yesterday the Kansas House and Senate voted to override Kansas Governor Laura Kelly's veto of SB 63, a bill to ban Lifesaving Medical Care for LGBTQIA+ Youth. It will become law in the next couple of weeks. I am sure there are folks already working on a lawsuit to stall this in court.
Remember to find the joy so you can keep on fighting. They want us sad and exhausted.
