Sadly they are gone: I received a sound scolding well into middle age when my mum found them in the loft.
She phoned me up specially to bollock me for it & to let me know my dad took them to the tip βin case anyone saw themβ a brisk three decades after the crime
My greatest (maybe only) pleasure in the yearly Christmas grandma gift of a Broons annual was meticulously tippexing out the speech bubbles & replacing the dialogue with the most puerile filth I could conjure.
