I understand your point, but my goal with the post wasn't to talk about how to stop thinking about my game at 4 a.m.

I just wanted to remind other #indiedevs that they're doing a great job, giving it their all, and that sometimes they can't see the forest for the trees.

It's a good point to test before overthinking it, and I appreciate the advice!

But it's almost impossible not to wake up thinking about my game. It's part of the package when you're building something without a safety net.

I think it's a shared experience that we devs have at some point, isn't it?

When I feel like this, the best thing to do is to get it in front of people

You will either:

1. Feel elated that people are enjoying your game. (Go to 3)

2. You will feel destroyed that people didnt enjoy your game. (Go to 3)

3. You will eventually solve problems that arise during this playtest.
