An important thread on how climate change looks like it's accelerating:
The Trump administration is embracing an intimidation strategy to silence critical media coverage. We're fighting back.
Bondi too. I hate to single out the women, as Miller and Kegsbreath have their genocidal "issues", but those two have a certain micro-smile they give while delivering a line of BS in service of Dear Leader.
I think he's counting the end of every day that we attack someone as the end of a war?
Mike Johnson: "Quitting smoking is easy, I've done it thousands of times!"
My government is currently destroying one of the great cities of the world, in an undeclared war, based on false pretenses, that the majority of our country don't support.
Our elected representatives have failed to act.
Heartbreaking and infuriating. π
Inhuman.

What are you all paying for internet? Seems prices are just skyrocketing.
Comcast wants $350/ month for business Internet/phone for a 1-2 person office.
And that is with a 24 month contract, up from $291 last year. It had just gone to $446/month, with no contract.
What gives???

America is more than we often acknowledge, and Bad Bunny named them all.

"The Founders designed our government to be a system of checks and balances. Defendants, however, make clear that the only check they want is a blank one."
Damn, that is making a point! π₯

Everyone should go over to Fox News right now and see what they are saying about Minneapolis.
It does not resemble other reporting.
They are the top news outlet in the nation. They are big enough that their lies spread by word of mouth to alter people's beliefs.
It's despicable.
The media piece is more complex though. While he doesn't own all the media, he or his cronies own enough of it to tip opinion in large swaths of the electorate. Even when it requires believing outright lies.
So his administration says climate change is a hoax, but we have a much more complex agreement now (which we can't dispose) because a Chinese ship made it through the changing Arctic to the UK.
Got it: fig leaf for dead end foreign policy bluster.
The cruelty is the point.
Rampant human rights abuses in immigrant prisons (for the crime of wanting a better life), while Ghislaine Maxwell gets a puppy and walks in the park.

Two days after the Trump regime released a doctored photo of a Minnesota protester to make it look like she was crying when she wasn't, they want us to believe their explanation for shooting a man to death on a Minneapolis street.
Meanwhile, while the craziness of the news cycle plays out, slower moving crises (water, climate, genocide) continue unabated.

...on environmental issues. She said straight up if they heavily present a progressive side of a story, the next day the phone rings and it's someone from industry complaining. And our side doesn't do that.
She later switched to from beat reporting to human-experience stories. /end
Thanks. I gave them a call and share my thoughts. It's so important that we push back on normalization and sanewashing in the media.
The other side has been doing this for years. I met with a reporter back in 2012-13, off the record, to discuss why they wouldn't cover much activism... 1/2
