A very interesting morning looking at the temperatures across Ireland. Most of the country between 6C to 8C then down to nearly -2C in parts of Dublin. That's a mad temperature difference. Frost also reported across parts of Dublin this morning.
Good morning everyone a mix of sunshine and cloud out today with some outbreaks of rain or shows in the western half of Ireland. Temperatures will range between between 8C to 10C.
Sunday will be cloudy day with outbreaks of rain moving west to east during the afternoon but amounts will be small.

This shows they road conditions around the N17 near Knock Airport tonight with big snowfall amounts in the Area. The road is close and not passable for HGVs
❄️Sligo County Council are reporting Due to heavy snow fall, the N17 at Knock Airport is currently impassable to HGV’s.

ECMWF weather model for Christmas day is very interesting with a fridgit cold northerly airmass and snowfall in the west, northwest and north. Early days yet as this is only one run.
The American GFS model has things milder for Christmas day and mostly dry.
⚠️🥶 A low temperature warning has been issued from this evening until Wednesday morning with temperatures locally in parts of the north and northwest potentially dipping to -8C by morning.

A very cold morning in the northwest with temperatures falling to -6C locally in places. How's it with you?
Temperatures will drop tonight down to -3C to -4C with some parts of the northwest & north falling to -5C to -6C. Very frosty with icy conditions with the risk of some freezing fog patches also.
🥶Cold tonight with frost and icy patches with clear skies, temperatures will range 2C to -2C.
High pressure will remain in place over next week with cold nights ahead and the increasing risk of fog during the week.
