I was 23 in 1991 and nervous as I was under the age 25 limit for a potential draft. We (males) still had to register for the Selective Service when we were 18. I was of the generation whose fathers, uncles, cousins and neighbors served in Vietnam, our grandfathers and great-uncles in WWII and Korea.
