Getting a library card is punk as fuck and free!

A quick read exploring themes of reciprocity and connection through the metaphor of the serviceberry. It blends Indigenous wisdom and ecology and advocates for generosity and harmony with nature in a scarcity-driven capitalist economy. I just love everything by Robin Wall Kimmerer

Venus’ temperament is embracing and benign; under her reign, all is lush and quivers with life’s force. In her honour a fragrance was born, opening with a verdant bouquet of aromatics & soft, sweetly fragrant blooms before parting its petaled skirt to reveal a carnal, lactonic base.
