People and patient care, the real reason we go into healthcare, are the ones who suffer. It's time for this to change! As healthcare professionals we are there everyday on the frontlines doing the work to help patients while policies handcuff our work and meaningful progress.
Each of the most 'profitable' sectors of healthcare have huge lobbying groups that shape policies to help their bottom-line. Policies shaped by these lobbyists prioritize revenue over patients and have come at the cost of healthcare access and outcomes for our patients.

frustrating, but I'm not particularly worried. Sup Ct. didn't say the judge was wrong, but that they're adopting a new rule specific to enjoining statutes (that comes from a federal abortion case). don't see a ton of difference, so I think judge will apply different caselaw & reach the same result

There are a lot of forces that work to pit urban vs rural communities
Medicaid is a lifeline to both and must be saved.
Everybody has bad days, what you don't want is someone having a bad day with a gun in their hand making unmodifiable decisions they will regret and cant take back.
