Feels like the worst of it is over in South King County. It was quite a show.

Happy New Year!
You have me beat! 26 flights this year but only a little over 15,000 miles and the vast majority between the same two airports.
Happy New Year! I flew 26 flights on my airline of choice this year and only racked up 15,370 miles. I'm sure I spent more hours in airports than in the air. Still beats driving!
Yes I have multiple young Asian women that follow me and look like they are AI creations. I'm trying to figure out what the end game is. Very strange.
I stay in a lot of Fairfield Inns on business travel to consolidate Bonvoy points. If you pick a property less than 10 years old, it is usually a pretty good experience.
Breakfast is usually an afterthought for me,but I'd rather have an "adequate" free breakfast than get stuck paying $20 elsewhere.
I barely even check in there anymore. I will delete my account eventually, but there are some useful government accounts that I follow that haven't moved over here yet.
Well done! So many of the cool things I've done were before the days of cell phones and digital cameras. I wish I had taken more pics but (as you know) cameras were a pain in the ass.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US. It doesn't need to be a Hallmark holiday. We have adult children...logistics are crazy. My wife and I were overly stressed in our younger years and are not putting that on our kids. It might just be the two of us this year...but that's OK.
Nice shot. Dumb question, but I assume you took this photo over your shoulder. I can't imagine you could turn that much in your seat to take a pic?
Lucky to be staying home, and family is all within driving distance. Happy Thanksgiving!
Nice! I gave most of mine away as I tried to declutter my office, but kept one as a memory of an assignment at Singapore Airlines 30 years ago. Queen of the Skies!
BlueSky....just because. (Yellowstone County, Montana)
What about Hot Pockets? (standing by to get "blocked")
Yup.
Glad I found you over here. I've followed you for a long time on that "other site". Keep the faith!
Glad I found you over here! I enjoy your posts.
Little sister (E175 climbing out of Billings, Montana last week)
E175 over eastern Montana last week.
Congrats! I had an elected office for 12 years (City Council). It is one of the hardest, but also most rewarding things I've done outside of my real career.
I've been reading you since that "other" site.
We are lucky. Temps are in the 40's.
Firstly, you have power! Secondly, there are flamingos on the wall!
Me too, but probably another day or two without power. 70+ mph winds last night.
True story...when I was in college (late 80's) my brother was in high school and working at McD's. They couldn't give McRibs away and I wound up with a case of about 4 dozen of them. No sauce, however. I feel cheated.
Tuna on croissant. Keeping it classy during a power outage.
