It’s an unfinished sculpture of Luci from the Disenchantment series. His legs have been removed due to armature issues. He is made of epoxy clay and has been painted white. Some clay added on top of the white to start fleshing out. It has been abandoned for a couple of years at least.

This is another of my abandoned sculptures from a couple years back. His leg armature was not working out. I had to break the legs off and rethink my approach. I also broke his arm to adjust the pose. After much frustration I sat him aside and worked on other things. Maybe this year.

This is true and unfortunate.

@forestrogers.bsky.social makes such amazing pieces! Always flowing with whimsy and elegance.
