With this project, we aim to show queer joy from all over the world. It's a global celebration in times of censorship, and the resilience of Indigenous queer people amplifies this, making Gale's celebration of their Métis culture the perfect cover!

This updated cover art I have done for the zine… whew!

Why we are even pointing fingers at a country that’s been actively threatened invasion for over a year instead of addressing the wolf in the room is ridiculous to me. Stop weaponizing native experiences as if a country is better than the other, especially non-natives. Your activism excludes us.

Next time an American uses the “but look at the way Canada treats its Indigenous people!” as a gotcha moment for comparing the nations, I’m going to ask them to do the same thing for America. America STILL does the same thing to native people. One nation at least acknowledges it. Both are bad. Stop.
