By identifying the issues clearly, I feel hope that the extraordinary creativity of this sector can work out what we do together.
I have found the support/solidarity of colleagues like the amazing Phil Douglas (Curious Arts) and Adam Carver (Fatt Projects) essential in this moment and so it feels totally right to be partnering with them on this new research piece, LGBTQIA+ Cultural Barometer.
I couldn’t have imagined this would be the climate we'd be working in when I co-founded Marlborough Productions 16 years ago w/ Tarik Elmoutawakil, but we need to engage with the realities of producing queer culture across the UK if it's to remain a sustainable longterm practice for artists + orgs.

Big week coming up for Harry Clayton-Wright and Marlborough Productions as Mr Blackpool finally comes to life with an extraordinary group of creative collaborators. It’s been quite the journey to get here, but I’m so proud and excited for this urgent and quite bonkers show to meet its audience ♥️💙💜
Had so many transformational experiences being part of previous editions of this, can’t recommend it enough.
