What a safe home we have built
Only to live in terror and fear
while freedom rings
on deaf American ears.

O say can you see
The tragedy and tyranny,
Or are you blinded by ice,
With pepper and spice?

So by fear will you flee,
Or will you stand for democracy,
While your neighbors and friends,
Are beaten, choked, and dragged
For having the wrong shade of skin, paper, or language?

I’ve been awol for a while because of current events but also because I’ve lost all motivation to write and finish my current project. I have like 10-15k left but I just gave up because it’s all garbage. Writing is hard, and I’m exhausted. Whatever, nobody cares. I’ll let y’all know when it changes

My Astro hot take: the little green Martian men are really hiding underground on mars. I.e. there might be unicellular life still alive underground on mars or on certain moons.

It would make me so happy to see little Martian microbes dancing around.

I think we need to bring back something like the ice bucket challenge. Something to give us some hope, and remind us to do good in the rough times.
